Lighting…Who ever thought it would be such a big deal choosing a light fixture?! But it is! There are so many styles out there, so many colors, the choice is limitless..I only hung one light fixture till now, you can see it here , and the rest, well, here is some inspiration..
See what i mean? I guess at the end of the day you just go with the thing you like the most, regardless of style or period or color…You like it, get it, no questions asked!

Knoll love!
My chairs are finally here!! Here is a peek at the unfinished dining room (couldn’t resist sharing my enthusiasm over those chairs!)
And here is a renovated building in downtown Beirut
It’s hard to imagine that once this building was rundown by bullets and shell holes …
Room of the week
I’ve had this picture for a while in my files, i don’t know what i love more, the colors, the bedspread, the side tables, that tufted screen/headboard, and the fact that the lights are attached to that headboard, genius!…What an amazing and stylish idea for a headless bed or a wall that isn’t straight like the one above..
What do you think, would you go for something like this?

We have officially moved house! Finally, after a few weeks of packing and spending time back and forth to check on the renovations, i can say that i’m finally settled..Now it’s the unpacking that is a bummer! Since my husband is helping with the unpacking , he found that i pack a bit too well !(it’s taking him time to unpack each item poor guy!!)..
Anyway, the place is coming together slowly, got connected to the internet yesterday, so i am back!
Here is a sneak peek of the only lighting fixture we hung till now
I took it from my husband’s office , since i found it would fit perfectly in our kitchen!
A few inspirational pictures for you to enjoy on this beautiful Wednesday..

Festive ribbons
In the old days, women used to put ribbons in their hair during festivities, and gave their best ribbons to their knights…Ribbons have always symbolised festive events, from gift wrapping, to ribbons on dresses , or as above in decoration for special events.
Have you ever tried something similar?
