I don’t have an iPhone (blackberry user), but this case just took my breath away! It reminds me of cameos, everything feminine and the pleasure of being a woman! Do you like it? Found it, where else, on pinterest..

Monday inspiration
Sorry for the lack of post on Friday, but was jet lagged big time! My plane was delayed so it took me 20 hours to arrive!!
Montreal is still as beautiful and welcoming as i left it..
I hope you all had a great and inspiring weekend, here are some pictures of what is inspiring me this Monday
A beautiful headboard..
My mother had a very similar chest, leather and brass, where she had all the linen sheets and table clothes from her family in italy..I asked her for it earlier this year, but sadly it was so rotten, beyond repair!
Perfect for little girls tea party, soo sweet no?
And of course, we are women, so some bling is in order…
Have a lovely week, xo…

Hair color…
Very rare are the women who haven’t changed their hair color, gotten highlights, lowlights or any kind of light!
The ratio of women changing their hair color is much higher than men. They tend to change their look mainly by having a beard, a moustache , long or short hair..
Well we can’t grow a beard so we change the color of our hair! I began at an early age wanting to be blonder, (my mom is blonde with green eyes while i came out a brunette with brown eyes, my father’s legacy), so i wanted to look more like my mom, more european (go figure, as if they don’t have brunettes in europe!).
Anyway, so throughout the years i went from blonde, to brown with highlights, to reddish, to blonde again, even tried having black hair!
Was i looking for something? Maybe i did. Maybe my frustration at not being able to change my life was the trigger for my physical change, aka hair color change!
I can’t tell you in what condition my hair ended up! Dry, brittle, falling (sometimes i used to change my color twice a month, yeah crazy!).
But with age (is that the reason i wonder?), i just accepted the fact that i was fine the way i was born, so after all these years i finally went back to being a brunette, my natural hair color, or a slightly similar one..
ps: the only color i haven’t tried!
Do you color your hair? And why? Are you a yo-yo like me or you settled on one color for a long period of time?

Country of contradictions
As always in this country, movies get banned, concerts get cancelled and many more alike absurdities happen in the name of “government security”..
This is the movie that was supposed to open on january 19 here in Lebanon, but was banned.
On the other hand, half (if not more) of the Lebanese population saw it yesterday aired on a french channel (everyone has cable!), me included…So what was the point of banning it in the first place?!
And that my dears, is one of the many contradictions we face living here…
I hope you have a lovely weekend wherever you are, xo..
